A touching, hilarious, full of
Godber's clever, perceptive, observational humour

Three actors play a multitude of characters (sound familiar?) taking the overland trip through Europe – once they’ve finally cleared the hour and a half delay on the Channel Tunnel …
– Larry, a huge Mario Lanza fan, who’s been making the trips as long as he can remember, is nearing retirement, something he really does not want to do.
– Stick, dry humoured and looking for career advancement, hates his passengers and wishes he was on the Spanish run.
– Frank, the woman in a so called man’s world, holds her own without any trouble as she slides her way through the situations that evolve.
Their passengers get nick names like “the Beverley Sisters”, “the Marks brothers”
and “arsenic and old lace” -
So book your seats, ladies and gentlemen, for a touching, often hilarious, bitter sweet journey full of John Godber's usual clever, perceptive view of "men of the world".
